Outsourced SDR Cost: Monthly Prices, Contracts and What Is Included

Short answer. Outsourced SDR cost in 2026 runs from about $2,500 a month for a lean programme to $15,000 or more for a full team, or $150 to $600 per meeting on pay per appointment, according to two US vendor price guides published this year. Add set-up fees, the minimum term and tools billed separately, then compare cost per account worked.

Updated 22 Oct 2026.

"How much does an outsourced SDR cost per month?" is the question buyers type, and the pages that answer it are written by the providers selling SDRs. That does not make their figures wrong. It means every published price is a range set by a seller, in US dollars, for a US buyer.

This guide collects what has been published and what buyers report paying, with sources and dates. It then covers what the price includes, the contract terms that change the real cost and how to compare quotes when your revenue depends on a short list of companies.

How much does an outsourced SDR cost per month?

Published ranges from two providers' 2026 price guides:

Pay per appointment$150 to $600 per appointmentRevnew, 13 Mar 2026; LeadHaste gives $150 to $500 per accepted meeting

What buyers report in public threads is in the same range. These are single, unverified anecdotes from threads we collected on 13 Oct 2026:

What was reportedSource and date
Outsourced SDR services "at $7,000/month"r/salesdevelopment post, Apr 2026
"$3-5k/month on the low end to $10k+"r/b2bmarketing comment, Oct 2026
A founder asking for reviews "before spending $15K+/month"r/smallbusiness post title, Aug 2025

Two things to take from the tables. The spread is wide, so a quote means little until you know how many people, which channels and which companies it covers. And no published page we found prices outsourced SDRs in rupees, dirhams or pounds; if you sell from India or the Gulf, you are reading US price lists.

What pricing models do outsourced SDR providers use?

Four, often mixed:

  1. Monthly retainer. A fixed fee for a defined amount of work. You pay whether or not meetings happen.
  2. Dedicated team. A retainer priced per SDR seat, sometimes with a team lead or manager on top.
  3. Pay per appointment. A fee for each meeting booked and held. Rates differ with the seniority of the person met.
  4. Hybrid. A smaller base fee plus a per-meeting fee. Revnew gives $3,000 to $8,000 a month base plus $100 to $300 per qualified appointment (13 Mar 2026).

The model decides what the provider is paid for: work under a retainer, meetings under pay per appointment. Our post on pay per meeting vs retainer covers where each one goes wrong.

What is included in an outsourced SDR price, and what is billed separately?

Most quotes include the SDR's time, list building, writing and sending the sequences, follow-up and a report. Read the proposal for the lines that are often charged on top:

  • Set-up or onboarding fee, billed once before outreach starts.
  • Data and contact credits, and who owns the list afterwards.
  • Sending domains and mailboxes, plus warm-up tools.
  • Extra channels. LeadHaste puts a multi-channel programme at 20 to 40 per cent above a comparable email-only one (updated 16 Sep 2026).
  • Management time, if a team lead is charged as a separate seat.
  • Your own time: approving messages, taking handovers and joining calls. No provider bills it, but you pay it.

Ask for every fee in writing, in one currency, including tax. If a line appears only in the contract and not the proposal, add it before you compare.

Here is where each cost block sits for an in-house SDR, an outsourced SDR and a dedicated account-based selling consultant.

What is the minimum contract for an outsourced SDR programme?

Each provider sets its own, and the reason is usually the ramp: list, research, messages and domain warm-up take the first weeks. LeadHaste's FAQ, for example, describes month-to-month terms after an initial three months for one of its offers. Whatever the term, get four things in writing: the notice period, whether it renews automatically, any fee for stopping early and an exit if the named people on your account leave.

The Outsourced SDR Contract Checklist lists 30 terms to agree, with five clauses you can copy into the contract.

Is an outsourced SDR cheaper than hiring in-house?

Often in the first months, because there is no recruiting and no ramp salary. Over a year it depends on your own figures. An in-house SDR costs salary, commission, employer costs, tools, data, a manager's time and the months before full output. An outsourced SDR costs the retainer, set-up and separately billed tools, and usually works for other clients at the same time.

A commenter in an r/sales thread from Aug 2022 put the trade-off plainly: "Two SDRs for 6 months will prob cost the same as one of these outsourced programs for the same period of time." Run it with your own numbers. The SDR cost calculator puts in-house, outsourced and AI side by side in your currency, and in-house SDR vs account-based selling compares the models beyond cost.

AI SDR software changes the arithmetic again: a lower licence, but data, mailboxes and the hours your team spends checking what it sends. AI SDR vs human SDR covers that comparison.

How do you compare outsourced SDR quotes fairly?

Put every quote on the same basis, then divide by what you actually care about.

  1. Total cost over the minimum term: set-up + (monthly fee × months) + expected per-meeting fees + tools billed separately.
  2. Companies worked over the term: how many named companies the provider will work each month, times the months after ramp.
  3. Cost per company worked: step 1 divided by step 2.
  4. What "qualified" means, quoted word for word from the contract. The Lead Qualification Checklist, Account Edition has 15 checks you can use.

A provider that will not say which companies, or how many, will be worked has answered the question too. A low monthly fee spread across contacts nobody chose is not a cheap programme.

Why is a price per SDR the wrong unit for named accounts?

Because an SDR seat buys activity, and activity is spread across whoever is in the list. That suits a broad market where any company of the right size could buy. It suits a services firm or software company with 50 to 300 target companies badly. There, one meeting with one person is not the account opening up, several people decide and a careless approach can close a door for a year.

That is the case for account-based selling: choose the companies first, map who decides in each and reach several people per account with messages written for their role. The unit you pay for and measure becomes the account. For the wider picture, read account-based selling vs account-based marketing.

How does Intandemly charge?

We do not sell SDR seats, leads or meetings. Our client agreement says it plainly: "Intandemly is not a lead generation agency and does not operate on a success-fee basis." Each engagement is a monthly subscription to our platform with a dedicated consultant who works a named account list agreed with you. What it costs depends on how many accounts are worked, how deeply, the channels and the regions, so we quote for your list. Talk to us.

What that work looks like in numbers: for BEST SAP, which sells SAP finance add-ons across MENA and APAC, 800 named accounts were reached and 22 accounts were penetrated.

Why this works better on named accounts

An outsourced SDR quote counts seats, sends and meetings, because that is what a shared team can control. None of those tells you what happened to the companies you need. A named account approach starts from the list: you approve the companies, the work covers each buying committee and the report shows which accounts moved. Compare quotes the same way. Ask each provider which companies it will work, how many people in each and who checks every message before it reaches a senior buyer.

Frequently asked questions

How much does an outsourced SDR cost per month?

Published 2026 price guides from two US providers put it at about $2,500 to $6,000 a month for a lean programme, $6,000 to $15,000 for mid-market and $15,000 or more for a full team or complex sale. Set-up fees and tools are often billed on top.

How much does pay per appointment cost?

The same 2026 guides give $150 to $600 per appointment, depending on who the meeting is with. Many offers are hybrids: a monthly base fee plus a per-meeting fee. Agree in writing what counts as a qualified meeting before comparing rates.

What is the minimum contract for an outsourced SDR programme?

Each provider sets its own, often a few months to cover ramp. Get the notice period, auto-renewal, any early-exit fee and an exit if the named people on your account leave in writing before you sign.

Is outsourcing SDRs cheaper than hiring in-house?

Often in the first months, because there is no recruiting or ramp salary. Over a year it depends on salary, tools, management time and how many companies each option works well. Compare the 12-month total divided by companies worked, using your own figures.

Does Intandemly publish its prices?

No. We do not sell SDR seats or meetings. Each engagement is a monthly subscription to our platform and a dedicated consultant working your named accounts, priced on the accounts, depth, channels and regions. Talk to us for a quote for your list.
