How the score works

Each account is scored 0 to 3 on eleven criteria. Fit carries 60 points, timing 25 and access 15.

The total is out of 100. 90 or more is Tier 1, 75 to 89 is Tier 2, 60 to 74 is Tier 3. Below 60, leave the account alone and score it again when a trigger event appears.

Write down the evidence for every score of 2 or 3. A score nobody can explain is a guess.

Why this works better on named accounts

A score is only useful when it decides where your hours go. On a broad list every company gets the same two lines of effort, so ranking them changes nothing. On a named list the top tier gets a mapped buying committee, a reason to talk this quarter and several conversations at once. If you score 200 companies and 30 clear the Tier 1 bar, that is the tool working: 30 accounts you can work properly are worth more than 2,000 you can only email.
